It’s no secret that Sam’s been struggling with his inner rage and his tortured past as of lately. Normally, he’s way against cults, religions and all this weird stuff, but the appeal of this new shifter ‘healing spot’ is the promise that they’ll learn to digest the rage and live more peacefully, as shifters should. Sam’s really hesitant, and not too willing at first, but he’s left the bar to Terry and Lafayette to run while he’s gone. It’s kind of a rehab to him, only, he often heads off to the strip for the occasional gambling and drinking. It does come as a surprise to him when he runs into the familiar faces of Louisiana.
